Lori Schwilling

Lead Pastor

Rev. Lori Schwilling is pleased to serve as pastor of Lebo-Olivet United Methodist Church.

She has been a United Methodist Pastor since 2006, serving congregations in Saffordville, Rossville and Hillsboro before coming to Lebo-Olivet.

Prior to attending Saint Paul School of Theology, Lori enjoyed a teaching career spanning 22 years. She taught Language Arts (English/Speech/Yearbook) at Marais des Cygnes Valley and Council Grove High Schools.

Pastor Lori brings the gifts of administration, preaching and teaching to the Lebo community.  She has a passion for helping people understand the Bible as a "living word" by applying its teachings to everyday life.

Lori and her husband Jerry have been married for 20 years.  Lori has two grown sons.  Cameron lives with his wife and two children in KCMO.  Aaron lives in NYC where he is a manager for L2 Artists.

You will often see Pastor Lori walking her basset hound Jethro. You will often find Lori's husband Jerry on the disc golf course or playing the banjo.  They love to talk about dogs, disc golf, music, and family.
